I’ve seen a lot of crafters making paper clip embellishments and I decided why not try it. I couldn’t stop and had so much fun. My favorite was the stitching part. I will be making more of these to add to my junk journals. What do you think? Thank you for stopping by.
It feels awesome to get back to mixed media collaging. Please watch the video on how I did it. This is my first try to do a how to video and I hope you like it.
Hello beautiful people. These junk journal embellishments are now available in my Etsy shop. All the items in my shop are 10% OFF so please do check it out.
I am having so much fun creating junk journals. This journal measures 3 1/4 x 6 1/4 inches and cuter in person. I also included a flip through video and I apologize if the video is blurry. I just couldn’t figure it out why after I uploaded it to youtube it ended up blurry. I’m still new to making youtube videos so I really appreciate any suggestions on how to fix blurry youtube videos. I use my iPhone for recording videos and iMovie for editing. So if you guys are expert on making youtube videos, I am open to any suggestions. Well anyway, this journal is already available in my Etsy shop.
I’ve finished another one this weekend and I love how the cover turned out. I used scrap fabrics for the cover. The journal measures 5 x 5 inches and also include pockets and inserts. Please check out the journal on my Etsy shop.
Please check out the junk journal flip through video to see the what’s inside. Thanks!
I didn’t know that gelli printing can be so much fun until I tried it. The hardest part for me was the image transfer from a magazine. I made a lot of errors. I watched a video about it and the techniques was to use a small amount of acrylic paint and do not press the image too long on the gelli plate. Tried it and it worked. I will be doing a lot more gelli printing and will post them soon.
Happy Halloween everyone! These are so much fun to create. I joined the group willowing and friends on Facebook and they do ATC swap every month. This is my third swap and I am enjoying it because I get to see the works of other crafters and of course checking the mailbox becomes more fun. 😃 If you want to join in the fun check out willowing and friends.
Created these mixed media magnets using my kid’s puzzle pieces from their barbie toy. I was going to throw them away but decided to altered them. I added glossy accent from Ranger on top to add glossy finished and to protect the art. They turned out nice and added them on my Etsy shop. I think these are great for giveaways, gift for a friend or just display them on your refridgerator for daily inspirations.
